We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for our Kalamazoo and Ann Arbor location.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Sales Representative with WMOI, you will contact other companies and develop relationships with other business leads. Seeking new opportunities to grow your pipeline is the key to success. You will be making customer visits, presenting solutions and providing customers with project estimates and design options, in collaboration with our Designers.

Job Requirements:

The successful professional in this commission-based role should have 2 years of professional, face-to-face, outside sales experience (office furniture sales preferred), but we are willing to train the right candidate.  You need to have the ability to build rapport quickly and enthusiastically, and your outstanding communications skills will ensure your success!

SUMMARY

Installs office systems in commercial and industrial buildings by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reads prints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, and material, tool, and work aid requirements.

Lays out reference lines and points for use in computing location and position of metal framing marks position for erecting metalwork.

Secures metal framing to walls.

Fits, aligns, and hangs panels, work surfaces, etc.

Communicates with sales consultants and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

Must be familiar with using tools.

Valid driver license with the ability to obtain Class B CDL.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

We currently have an opportunity available for a full-time Interior Designer in Holland, Michigan.  To be successful in this position, we need someone who is highly motivated, very detail oriented, great communication skills, and a self-starter.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn design program to create floor plans, furniture and office systems lay outs.
  • Learn program to create sales quotes and orders.
  • Meet with the Sales Representative and/or the client in order to understand the client’s objectives and desires.
  • Select furniture finishes.
  • Communicate effectively with client, sales, vendors and team in order to address client’s needs.
  • Meeting with fabric and manufacturing representatives as needed to go over new products.
  • Maintain the design and pricing of the show room floor.
  • Keep design library organized.
  • Ability to accessorize furniture on show room floor.
  • Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant.

Qualifications

  • Some college or Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience with furniture preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD, experience in Sketchup or Giza preferred.
  • Must have the basic understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, very detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple projects throughout the day.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute.

West Michigan Office Interiors is looking for an experienced part-time or full-time IT Administrator.  The IT Administrator is responsible for managing, monitoring, installing and maintenance of computers, computer networks, software, storage, and server hardware.  This person solves problems that may occur within them, as well as provides technical support to all employees.

Essential Functions

  1. Install, configure and manage Active Directory (software infrastructure).
  2. Install, configure and lead security efforts and initiatives in order to stay at the cutting edge of trends and updates, both with cybersecurity, AntiMalware, etc.
  3. Install, configure and manage the following: Firewalls, VPNs, WIFI infrastructure, and desktops, laptops, and servers using windows operating systems.
  4. Install and configure office productivity software.
  5. Perform data backups.
  6. Manage subscription telephone system and printing infrastructure.
  7. Troubleshoot issues, system errors and outages.
  8. Research and recommend improvements to operating systems to meet organizational needs.
  9. Install and update network system improvements as needed.
  10. Manage and purchase equipment and software licensing.
  11. Maintain and manage switching infrastructure.
  12. Provides technical support to all employees in a prompt and efficient manner.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or computer Science.
  2. 3-4 years of proven success working with security, systems, hardware, software and end-users.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software and upgrades.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus analytical, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Must be customer service oriented.
  5. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  6. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
